Opening of the new DGS Druckguss Systeme AG plant in Frydlant on 22.09.2022
The plant, with a floor area of more than 15’000m2, will offer space for 6 large casting cells with a clamping force of up to 6000t, including heat treatment and machining. The total investment will be over CHF 60 million.
In this first expansion stage, challenging structural castings as well as aggregate and battery components for the growth market of electric vehicles will be produced for the main customers of DGS Druckguss-Systeme AG.
Exactly 12 months after the ground-breaking ceremony, the first production started at the new location on 29.04.2022, which will now be ramped up quickly in the next few months.
DGS is thus further expanding its presence in the Czech Republic in order to participate in the growth in the field of e-mobility and challenging structural castings and is therefore positioning itself once again as a highly innovative company that is willing to invest.
